Bassett Photography is a married team of Professional FULL TIME wedding photographers with over 6 years of experience in the photographic area and over 11 years in the design industry. We are known throughout as the "FUN Photographers!" We know just how to push the right buttons to get that look and feel of pure excitement and enthusiasm, as well as the timeless look you have always dreamed of.
Your portraits and wedding images are very important to us, and we strive to deliver our best, and to make every client's experience an effortless pleasure from start to finish.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Brandon knows the city quite well and the beauty that it can bestow. He has been known to not be shy when calling upon it. Shortly after graduating college with a Bachelors Degree in fine art, double majoring in Graphic Design & Illustration, Brandon landed the distinguished job as Art Director of Kayak Magazine. This was a magazine geared towards the Extreme outdoorsman and total whitewater kayaking. Brandon handled everything creative related from Completely designing and laying out the magazine, commercial advertising, developing a fashion sense and how to show it, pushing the limits and boundaries in design, and most of all photography. The photography entailed Commercial sessions, High-end fashion shoots, Trend focused photos, Modeling, and most importantly action / photojournalism.
Brandon shoots full-time and has an incredible passion for every aspect. His background in creativity and design is what now drives his perspective and total uniqueness in shooting. Not only does Brandon have an understanding of the full process of shooting images to show the world, He also has 11+ years of Photoshop experience and does his own post production. Brandon currently lives in Lee’s Summit with his wife Melissa, daughter Amelia, and a new baby boy Ethan born a year and a half ago.
